Idyllically, the route marked with the number 8 on a blue background leads with constant ups and downs through the forest and meadow landscape east of the Pollinger Weiher. Walkers repeatedly enjoy fantastic views of the Alpine range. At the Reinthal Farm Museum, all kinds of old agricultural tools can be admired. Right next door, it's worth stopping by the associated café.

The extended walking route begins at the idyllic Pollinger Weiher, which lies between meadows, forests, and moors. From here, it initially goes along quiet forest paths by the Lanzenbach through the woods towards the northeast. Shortly after the path leaves the forest, it leads on a hilltop onto a narrow asphalt road. Here walkers enjoy for the first time a beautiful view of the Alpine range. It continues - partly over meadows and fields, partly through shady woods - eastward. Where the path turns south begins probably the most panoramic section of the entire route. Accompanied by a breathtaking mountain view, the route now gently ascends to Reinthal, a small hamlet with a farm museum and café. Passing the Fernweiher and the Hachtsee, it finally returns to the Pollinger Weiher.
Author’s recommendation
Those who are out on weekends or public holidays in good weather can sweeten the route with a stop at the café of the Reinthal Farm Museum! A visit to the museum should definitely also be planned!
