Website of the Vosgien Club of BarrRoadbook
Go around the Town Hall on the right and climb towards the Protestant church square.
From there, climb to the "Muller-Apffel" kiosk straight ahead via the GR5 (red rectangle) along the Kirchberg cemetery, passing beside the Hering monument and the centenary stele of the Vosgien Club of Barr.
At the kiosk, continue to the former Moenkalb forestry house, the Small Kiosk and the Landsberg Castle, which is reached in about 1 hour.
After visiting the castle, go around it to the south by taking the trail (red triangle) that descends to the Herrade Rock of Landsberg, crosses the paved road of the Via Mala, the path of the Upper Einung (blue easel) and returns to Barr via the slopes of the Buchenberg.
