The starting point is the parking lot at the Waldbad in Mauthen. After 200m, turn right through the forest path to the Maria Snow Church. From the church to the Plöckenstraße, the path gently ascends through the forest. After crossing the Plöckenstraße, the path leads in slight switchbacks over the fields to the Lamprechtbauer.
