Lake Loop

A short, beautiful 1.4 kilometers is all it takes to walk once around Hartensbergsee on an asphalt, barrier-free path at the western edge of Goldenstedt. The 7-hectare inland lake in the eponymous recreational park is half surrounded by a sandy beach, and in other places by lawns and trees. In summer, it invites you to swim. There are camping, fishing, and various leisure opportunities. Especially among young people, Hartensbergsee has made a name for itself through the electronic festival "Strandfieber" and the punk rock festival "Afdreit und buten." Those who use the access route from the Goldenstedt town hall walk

along the multi-generation park. A detour to the sculpture "Goldregen," the emblem of Goldenstedt that extends over the river "Hunte," is also not far away.
