From the CJ station of Saignelégier, ascend to the National Horse Market-Competition hall and continue towards the Franches-Montagnes Leisure Center. From this place, the route heads towards the cantonal road Saignelégier-Tramelan. Cross the road carefully, and on the right follow the small paved road downhill.

After about a hundred meters, leave the road and climb the pasture passing by point 978 to reach the La Neuve Vie campground. At point 971, near the Etang des Royes pond, turn left towards a quarry then across the pasture to the hamlet of Les Rouges Terres. At point 974, choose left and continue straight to the road Les Montbovats-Le Pré Petitjean (pt 956). Cross the road to enter a narrow path through the forest, then along the edge, on a gently sloping lane, towards Les Peignières. Shortly before the hill's summit, choose the path on the left that climbs through the forest to descend to the CJ station of Pré Petitjean (restaurant).

Continue to the right along the path beside the railway. Cross the somewhat marshy area of Plan de Saigne with a pretty pond. At the fork of point 854, turn left onto the small road leading to the farm and CJ station of La Combe (restaurant).

Cross under the tracks to follow the path alongside the railway, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right, until the Saulcy-St-Brais road (pt 785). Cross the road and descend the narrow path leading to Etang de Bollement, which drains into a picturesque gorge. The route descends along the Le Tabeillon stream through the Côte des Arches, to the CJ stop of Combe Tabeillon and from there continues past the farm of Combe Tabeillon to the CFF station of Glovelier (restaurant).

From the CJ station in Saignelégier, walk along a small road past the Marché-Concours hall to the Franches-Montagnes Leisure Center and further to the cantonal road Saignelégier-Tramelan. Cross the road carefully and follow a paved path downwards to the right for about 100 meters. The route leads right through the pasture via point 978 to the La Neuve Vie campsite. At point 971, near the Etang des Royes pond, walk left to a quarry and continue through pastureland to the hamlet of Les Rouges-Terres. At point 974, follow a path left to the Les Montbovats-Le Pré Petitjean connecting road (point 956). Cross the road carefully and follow a narrow path. First through the forest, then along the forest edge with a gentle ascent, the route heads towards Les Peignières. Just before the hilltop, a path turns left uphill, crosses a forest, and then descends through pasture to the CJ station of Pré Petitjean (restaurant). From here, the route follows the railway, passing through the sometimes somewhat marshy area of Plain de Saigne with a pretty pond.

At the fork of point 854, follow the small road to the left to the farm and the railway station La Combe (restaurant). Through the underpass, reach the path along the railway line and walk downhill, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right of the tracks until the Saulcy-St-Brais road (point 785).

Cross the road and follow the path to the idyllic pond Etang de Bollement. The pond's waters flow into a gorge and form the Tabeillon stream. Along it, through the Côte des Arches, you reach the CJ maneuver station in Combe Tabeillon. Passing the Combe Tabeillon farm, the route descends to the SBB station of Glovelier (restaurant).
