Kapušany – Fulianka – Fintice Slopes – Kapušany Castle circuit
The first stop is the Fulianka relaxation zone, also known as the “Chapel.” It is a peaceful place with a strong atmosphere – here you will find a gazebo, a campfire site, a pond, and a spring. The sacred space with a chapel and a Byzantine cross creates a unique connection of nature and spirituality.
The route continues to the pilgrimage site Kikapa, which is popular for its spiritual atmosphere and tranquil environment.
Next is a passage through the Fintice slopes, which are among the significant botanical locations of the region. Thanks to volcanic soil, rare thermophilic plants thrive here, and it is a protected area with occurrences of pasqueflower and iris.
The route ends with an ascent to Kapušany castle, which towers on the Zámčisko hill. In addition to its rich history, it offers beautiful views of the Slanské Hills, the Sekčov valley, and the wide surroundings of Šariš.
The circuit then returns back towards Fulianka and Kapušany, creating a pleasant full-day trip with several stops.
