Kampina

We walk over heathlands, along numerous fens, through forests, and along small rivers (Kleine Aa, Rosep, Beerze). Along the Rosep river, we eventually reach the edge of the inhabited area of Oisterwijk. Here we also find a place where we can have a drink. We continue our walk through the Oisterwijk forests and along fens, and start the return journey. After a beautiful view of the Belversven and the extensive heathlands, we come across the Beerze river. This river accompanies us back to the edge of Boxtel. Shortly thereafter, we are back at Boxtel NS station, the end point of the walk.

Walking with NKBV 50 plus

This hike was made by participants of NKBV 50 plus. NKBV 50 Plus regularly goes out: in Dutch nature, to the Belgian Ardennes, Alps, Pyrenees, or even further. A shared passion, adventure, and conviviality go hand in hand. The walks are in principle on the 2nd and 4th Thursday and the 1st Saturday of the month. The Thursday walks start at 11:00 AM.
