Starting at the Bebenhausen visitor parking lot, the Alte Landstraße leads directly into the picturesque village. Here, you must decide which direction you’d like to take on the loop trail. If you’d like to explore the former Cistercian monastery first, turn right. If, on the other hand, you keep to the left, the path first leads along the idyllic Goldersbach stream to the Schwefelbrünnele and then continues on to the monastery and castle.

The imposing monastery and castle come into view again and again along the entire loop trail—but thanks to the varying angles and perspectives, it never gets boring; instead, it constantly offers new and charming views of the historic complex.

Passing blooming orchard meadows, walking a short stretch through a shady forest, and following the babbling Goldersbach, you’re sure to enjoy this short and family-friendly loop trail to the fullest. The combination of nature, culture, and history makes this tour a worthwhile destination for young and old alike.
