From soups, snacks to Kaiserschmarren, cold or warm dishes, we have something suitable in the pot for every hunger. A selection of homemade cakes is freshly available daily alongside coffee. Daily fresh alpine milk, buttermilk, homemade yogurt, or our whey drink invite you to try.
Our dormitories offer space for 11 people. Prices for overnight stay with breakfast € 17 per person/night Please reserve in advance!!!!
Our days start very early. Even before 5 a.m., it’s time to get up, drive the cows from the pasture to the stable because they want to be milked. Milking, driving out cows, cleaning the stable, delivering milk to the cable car and valley, checking young stock and fences, driving the cows together again in the late afternoon, evening milking, processing milk, and at the same time taking care of guests.
40 milking cows, 40 pieces of young stock, 4 calves, and 2 horses spend their summer vacation with us.
One third of these are our own animals. The remaining animals come from different farmers in the village.
Our 40 dairy cows produce about 600 liters of high-quality alpine milk daily.
Part of the milk is processed by us on the alpine pasture into alpine butter, buttermilk, yogurt, quark, and whey. The rest of the milk is delivered daily to the valley and refined into delicious cheese at the dairy in Reutte.
Operation from June 11 to mid-October 2011, no rest day!

For the sporty, there is also a marked hiking trail from the valley station of the Reutte cable cars/Hahnenkamm to us. After about 2 hours of walking, you will have made it.
NEW: from summer 2011 you can also hike on the new access road to Höfener Alm. Walking time from the valley station of the Reutte cable cars/Hahnenkamm about 2.5 to 3 hours.
