Ferienregion Nördlicher Bodensee Tourist-Information Pfullendorf
The hiking route offers breathtaking views as well as a fairly sporty elevation profile.
During the 4.5-hour, moderately difficult hiking route, breathtaking views are guaranteed. The start is at the Seefreibad in Illmensee, where you can park your car for free. From here, it goes past the beautiful, idyllic Illmensee towards Illwangen and then uphill. About halfway along the route is the mountain inn Hotel Höchsten, high up with a panoramic view of Lake Constance and the Alps. From here, it goes back down through meadows and forests to Illmensee.
