Roadbook
Stage 1: Klosters - Davos
On the Via Valtellina, the former mule track for wine imports from Veltlin, the stage leads from Klosters Platz to Davos Dorf. It continues on the Jakobsweg to Davos Platz. The walking time is about 4.5 hours and leads over the Wolfgang Pass. The mountain trail requires moderate technique and poses moderate demands on your fitness. The stage is about 14.5 km long.
Stage 2: Davos - Arosa
You follow the footsteps of the Walser in the high valleys of Graubünden. The Walserweg stage Davos - Arosa is about 20 km long and takes about 6.5 hours. There are 1,100 meters of altitude to be overcome. After crossing Latschüelfurgga, you will encounter the "Tritt" - the key point. The steep staircase, secured with wire ropes to hold on to, requires surefootedness, concentration, and a head for heights; in return, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views! To facilitate this stretch, you can overcome the first approx. 250 meters of altitude in Davos Platz with the Schatzalpbahn.
Stage 3: Arosa - Lenzerheide
The last stage is also the longest stage. For the 18 km and 1,200 meters of altitude, about 7.5 hours are to be calculated. Our tip: Benefit from the Arosa all-inclusive card and take the gondola to Hörnli and start the hike there. The last part from Parpaner Rothorn to Lenzerheide can also be overcome with the aerial cableway to shorten the hiking time.
