Hike Wullroß - Psein

The circular route Wullroß - Psein starts at the parking lot of the therapy center in Weitensfeld.

You follow Mühlgasse to the pedestrian bridge, which leads directly to the outdoor classroom at Gurkknie. For a while, you walk along the Gurk riverside path to a field path on your left. There you follow Magdalenenstraße and cross Hauptschulstraße by the outdoor pool towards Magdalenenstraße. You reach St. Magdalena church, from which a forest path runs uphill to the south. You follow this path uphill until you reach Piswegerstraße, on which you follow the right turn towards Psein. You continue hiking to the junction onto the Gurktaler Höhenweg (G1), where you continue your hike to the right. During the walk along the Gurktaler Höhenweg, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view of the landscape. At Lenzenkreuz you turn right and follow the road leading to Weitensfeld. While you are on the forest path, you cross Zammelsbergstraße twice. You reach a pedestrian bridge over the Gurk, which leads to the marketplace. When you stroll through the marketplace, you can admire the famous Stone Virgin and stop for a meal opposite at the herbal inn "Gurktalerhof." Via Bahnweg you return to the therapy center's parking lot.
