Heutal-Staubfall-Gföller meadows

Route: Extensive but easy day hike. Starting point: Winklmoos - Alm parking lot. From the Winklmoos-Alm parking lot towards Heutal (Austrian marking No. 16) via the forest road on the “Heutal-Landweg”. After 6 km of hiking, the Heutal opens up. At the Heutaler Hof, turn left to the Staubfall. (Further route to Ruhpolding possible). Return on the same path to Heutal and then left to the old inn. Here right (No. 13) upwards to Moarlack. Then westwards to the crossroads, then ascending left (No. 14) over the Gföller meadows, continuing over pastures and hay meadows, through the forest to the Wielandseitenalm. From here, it goes westwards back to Winklmoos-Alm. Features: View of Sonntagshorn, Loferer Steinberge, Heutal, Loferer Steinberge, Staubfall. For this tour, you can use the free hiking bus.
