The tour leads exclusively through the forest and is suitable for anyone who just wants to take a long walk in the fresh air.
A path leads directly from the OT Hennersdorf to the circular trail, so there is also a direct hiking route from Hennersdorf to Augustusburg.
The tour is suitable for anyone looking for a nice circular route through the forest. It leads from OT Hennersdorf towards Augustusburg and back to Hennersdorf again. Entry at Augustusburg is also possible. The route goes partly uphill and downhill on mostly well-walkable forest paths. Along the way you have a beautiful view over Hennersdorf.
A part of the path runs along the nature trail and is therefore equipped with display panels on the theme "forest".
The hike is family-friendly, but not really suitable for strollers.
A refreshment opportunity is located in Augustusburg at the Hotel am Kunnerstein, directly at the entry point Augustusburg.
Otherwise, several benches along the way invite you to enjoy a picnic.

Tips and suggestions
The path partially coincides with the nature trail.
Those interested in more display panels and knowledge about the forest, and maybe even want to do a quiz about it, are recommended to take the entire nature trail. (Description can also be found here at outdooractive.com)
Roadbook
Starting from the covered wooden bridge in Hennersdorf, the path leads towards Augustusburg and then turns right into Zschopauer Straße. Immediately after Zschopauer Straße 17, a field path leads uphill towards the forest on the left. After about 1 km you reach the Bone Circular Trail. You then keep going straight ahead until you almost reach the road.* Here, before the road, turn left onto a narrow path that runs parallel to the road through the forest. Continue straight ahead, passing a small parking lot with a shelter.
Continue straight ahead past display panels of the nature trail and another shelter until the next fork. Here the nature trail turns left, the Bone Circular Trail continues straight ahead.
The path goes uphill and then runs parallel to the forest edge in a large left curve with a view of Hennersdorf (via a small diversion you reach the forest edge after a few meters. There is a bench where you can enjoy a nice view of Hennersdorf, another follows shortly after.) Continue to follow the forest path parallel to the forest edge, at the end of the left curve the path branches right again towards Hennersdorf. Here you walk back the way you came.
* At this point you also have the option to cross the road straight ahead and follow the signs for the "Nature Trail" until you reach the Franzosenfriedhof / Hotel am Kunnerstein.
It is recommended, for example, to connect the City Tour 1 or the Nature Trail via Erdmannsdorf . An excursion to Kunnerstein and the return via the Zschopautalweg to Hennersdorf is also possible.
Hennersdorf Bone Circular Trail from Augustusburg / Entry Point Franzosenfriedhof (Hotel am Kunnerstein):
At the start point, walk to the display panel for the nature trail. Before this panel, turn left and immediately left again onto a smaller path. This path leads after a few meters back to a larger one, which you follow to the right. At the next fork, take the right path.
At the next intersection, turn left following the sign "Bone Circular Trail". The path then leads straight ahead, across the road and back into the forest. Here begins the circular trail around the Hennersdorf bone, which can be walked in both directions.
