Roadbook
The path leads northwards, a short stretch along the state road, until the route turns into the nature reserve. It continues through a wooded area and then along the reed-covered shore to a light pine forest. A first small bridge crosses the outflow to Pelhamer See. At the second bridge, the first water lily fields can be spotted.
The route then runs for some time quite far from the shore of Hartsee before the path winds back towards Eggstätt at the southern edge. Passing Kaut- and Einbesssee, the signage leads back to the starting point.
A refreshment awaits the hiker at the Hartsee-Stüberl.
