Hamesberg Wanderweg

At the Hofstetten-Grünau train station, we cross the tracks and hike along Grünauer Straße, following trail marker 3/5, to the church. Behind the church, the trail leads to the Grünau-Grünsbach farm road. At the wayside shrine, we turn right (Hiking Trail 3/5 or 652), walk past the Antlashof farm, and continue to the intersection with the farm road. There, we turn right, and after passing the house at Grünsbach 2, we turn left onto a dirt road that leads us up a hill. We continue along Hiking Trail 3/5 and keep to the left. This brings us to the Hamesberg with its summit cross. Immediately after the summit cross, we turn left onto a dirt road (Hiking Trail 3/5) and follow it. The Konabetter Chapel is located along this path, and we pass right by it. We cross the state highway and find ourselves on the Jägerhof farm road. Immediately after the Grünsbach Bridge, we turn left onto the Sallaberg farm road (Hiking Trail 3/5) and follow the trail to the intersection with the Fischereck farm road. There, we turn right and follow Hiking Trail 652 to the Mühlberg Chapel. Here, we turn left and follow Hiking Trail 04 into the center of Rabenstein/Pielach.
