The route starts at the entrance of the "Lluc" Monastery. You leave the monastery grounds through the main gate and the path runs parallel to a dried-up stream bed, passing the botanical garden. After about 150 meters, you reach an information board. Here, turn left and cross the football field. On the other side, there are several trail signs. Choose the path to the right. After a few meters, a mountain hut with various BBQ areas is reached on the right. The eroded limestone rocks dominate the landscape until after about 20 minutes of gentle ascent a wooden ladder is reached, over which you get to the MA-10 road. On the road, go left at first and after about 100 meters turn right towards the "Menut i Binifaldo" farm. The path leads for a few minutes along the paved road past a reconstructed lime kiln. The "Menut" farm remains on the right side. Along the path through holm oak forests, you can repeatedly enjoy views of the massive peaks "Puig d'en Galileu" (1181m), "Puig Massanella" (1365m), "Puig Roig" (1003m), and "Puig Caragoler de Femenia" (922m). After about 25 minutes of gentle ascent, the path leads to the buildings of the nature conservation training center "Binifaldo." The facility is surrounded by farmland, and sheep often graze on the green meadow, creating an idyllic atmosphere.

From "Binifaldó," the long-distance hiking trail GR 221 continues to "Pollença." The trail heads north. Along the way, there are several information boards about the region's flora and fauna. These are also written in Braille, as blind people are often trained at the center. On the right, you can see the rocks of "Puig Tomir" (1104m). After about 10 minutes, the path passes the 500-year-old stone oak "Alzina d'en Pere." The path continues to an iron gate, which you go through on the left. The pleasant path gently descends with views of the bay of "Puerto Pollença." After about 1 km, the wide path turns downhill to the left and continues along a cart track to the spring "Font de Muntanya." Here are some stone-carved tables and benches, making this spot suitable for a short break. Below the spring, you continue on a wide hiking trail. Follow the signs "GR221 Pollença." The path winds continuously downward on a rocky path. Initially with some views, it then leads into a dense holm oak forest. The trail now becomes quite steep and winding, passing several charcoal burners' sites. After about 30 minutes, an asphalt road is reached. Turn right and follow the asphalt path to the bank of the small stream "Torrent de Muntany" in the "Vall d'en Marc."

The valley you are now crossing is named after the estate "Son Marc," which is located on the right of the path. The route runs between various farms with fig, almond, apricot, orange, pomegranate, and olive trees. To the south is the "Puig de Ca Míner" (at 887 m, the highest peak of the municipality). After about 45 minutes through the valley, the MA-10 road is reached at km 5.3. Follow the road to the right for about 20 m and then turn right onto a hiking path. After about 1 km, you return to the road. Here, follow the right the "Camí Vell" (old path). The stream bed of "Torrent de Son Marc" runs parallel. If the stream carries a lot of water, it is advisable to walk on the stone wall. After about 15 minutes, take the left fork, which after crossing a step ladder leads back onto the road. The path then follows the road for about 1 km until a right turn onto the paved "Cami de Vell" path parallel to the road is chosen. After a few minutes, cross the "Pont d'en Barqueta" bridge, then immediately after the bridge turn left onto the path to the "Refugi Pont Roma." After another approximately 50 meters, turn right into "Carrer de l'Horta" street, which you follow straight into the center of Pollença.
