Pollensa or Pollença, located in the north of the island, is a town with a special charm and a pleasant atmosphere conveyed by its narrow streets full of cafés, handicrafts, shops and pretty corners.
If you arrive by car, it is best to park in one of the public car parks at the entrance to the village, as parking in the other streets is difficult. The centre is just a few minutes' walk away.
The Plaza Mayor: This is the main square of the city. On Sunday mornings, the market is the main attraction, with stalls that arouse the curiosity of many tourists and residents. It is an ideal place to have a good coffee in one of the many pubs.
The Calvari: A walk of 365 steps leads to this place with magnificent views of the Pollensa surroundings.
Monti-sion: This is a former monastery and university that is still preserved. It is situated on a hill, so you can enjoy spectacular views from every point of the building.

Convent of Santo Domingo: This is an architectural jewel to be admired. Inside is the Museum of Pollensa, which exhibits works by various artists. Access is free of charge.
Popular shops: In Pollensa there are many curious shops, clothing shops, souvenir shops, food shops or bakeries with artisan products.
