From Kürnbach to the Derdinger Horn Oberderdingen #Schwarzrieslingdorf

From the marketplace, walk along Kronenstraße, turn left up Löwenstraße and cross the Sternenfelser Straße intersection (Music Academy on the left). Go up Leiterstraße, past the green area. Shortly after the intersection, turn right onto the footpath to the field path Geißberger Weg. At the bench, go straight down the hill and then turn right at the bottom.

At the edge of Oberderdingen, turn left and after about 100 m turn right into Hagenfeldstraße. At the end of the street, turn left. At the intersection, head towards Aschinger Straße (passing the catholic church, cemetery, Strombergschule, Aschingerhaus). Cross the pedestrian crossing continuing towards the town center (passing Vinothek, Old Schoolhouse) and then towards Bretten. At the crest, turn left into the street "Im Krautbühl", straight ahead towards the "Horn" hiking parking lot. Up to here, 6.8 km have been hiked.

At the viewpoint "Horn", turn left uphill to the Geological Window (approx. 400 m steep ascent) and continue to the barbecue area and playground. Pass the playground on the left into the forest path towards 7 Buchen, Kraichsee, Sternenfels.

At the intersection, continue straight towards Gasleitung, Rotenbergweg, hiking sign Sternenfels No. 6 - not towards Kraichsee. Always straight ahead, after a short steep climb you reach the forest edge.

District 3 - Teufelsklinge, turn left towards Sternenfels.

At the Sternenfels sports field, continue left on the bike and hiking trail towards Sternenfels. Sternenfels town center. Hiking distance up to this point 12.4 km.

Variant to the tower (not marked):

Pass the Löwen guesthouse, go up Schlossbergstraße, turn right towards Schlossbergturm - Sandgrubenweg. At the tower there is a resting place. Then return down the tower hill to the town center and straight ahead towards Kürnbach.

After a small green area, turn left towards "Breiter Weg" and follow the bike path sign Sulzfeld, Kürnbach.

Natural monument "Eschelberger Hohl", you reach the field path "Geißberger Weg" again, turn right towards Kürnbach. At Sudetenstraße turn left, Leiterstraße, cross Sternenfelser Straße at the Music Academy, Löwenstraße, turn right into Kronenstraße and back to the marketplace.
