The network of trails near Weiz has somewhat fallen into oblivion in recent years. Thanks to the Gleisdorf local group of the Nature Friends, three of these trails have now been reactivated and are well signposted. Mostly the path leads over streets and ways, some sections also go through the forest. There are always beautiful viewpoints that invite you to take a break.

The route starts at Solarstadion Gleisdorf. We follow the path to Ludersdorf to the municipal office. Shortly, we follow the Kötschmanngraben, soon the path leads through beautiful beech forest up to Ludersdorfberg. Shortly before reaching Wilfersdorfberg, the path splits. A somewhat more difficult variant leads through the forest; an easier one, recommended when wet, goes through the Enggasse district. A descent leads into the Sparblgraben, after a short climb, it goes down to Winterdorf. Along the golf course, we follow the path to the beautiful Freiberg castle. Over Altenberg we reach Ludersdorf again, and then on a familiar path back to Gleisdorf.
