This is hiking trail No. 16. All hiking trails are signposted from the trail sign at the car park of the Chiemgau Thermen. Enjoy the great view of the Chiemgau Alps and the Simssee on the section of the trail after Antwort.
Beautiful, family-friendly circular route along the Ratzinger Höhe with a great panorama of the Chiemgau Alps and the Simssee. There is a place to stop in Letten at the guesthouse Zum Letten.

Roadbook
You start at the Chiemgau Thermen and follow trail No. 16 along Ströbinger Straße past the Federal Police Sports School. Enjoy the great view of the Chiemgau Alps and the Simssee on the way to Antwort. To the left of the Simssee you see the church tower of Hirnsberg, the most beautiful village in Bavaria. In Antwort, turn left at the church into Hirnsberger Straße and after a short time turn right into Schleifmühlenweg. Trail No. 16 takes you along Ratzinger Höhe over Hocheck and Holzberg to Thalkirchen. From the district Hocheck, you hike on the Fruit and Cultural Trail Ratzinger Höhe. Along the path you will find many different old fruit varieties and numerous cultural monuments to discover. Through the Thalkirchen and Simssee moors, trail No. 16 leads you back to Bad Endorf in the district Kurf. From here it is not far and in a few minutes you are back at the starting point, the Chiemgau Thermen.
The places to stop are on the one hand in Thalkirchen at the inn „Zum Letten“ and on the other in Kurf, at the „Kurfer Hof“.

DB station "Bad Endorf" (Munich-Salzburg line), arrival by BRB Chiemgau-Inntal or DB. From the station to the trail sign at the Chiemgau Thermen follow the signs to the Chiemgau Thermen (about 400 meters).
By train to Bad Endorf (Munich - Salzburg line), then continue on foot for about 10 minutes via Geigelsteinstraße to Ströbinger Straße.
