UFFBASSE! - Campaign for considerate coexistence in nature
- Always behave in a considerate, friendly, and respectful manner towards everyone you meet on the way.
- Respect nature, do not destroy plants, and always stay on the paths. Try to avoid excessive noise and leave the forest before dusk.
- Remember to take a garbage bag with you and take your trash home.
- Please always keep your dog on a leash. Other visitors and animals will thank you.
- For your own safety, observe all path closures, even on weekends.
- Park only in designated parking areas. Leave space for rescue vehicles and agricultural machinery.
- Give priority to agricultural and forestry traffic.

Safety information
Especially in autumn, it should also be noted that the fallen leaves on the ground can cover unevenness, roots, stones, or holes in the path. After thunderstorms or heavy rain, trees can still fall or branches fall down afterwards. Especially in adverse weather conditions, natural paths can have muddy and slippery sections. Not all rocks or ravines are secured with ropes or railings. Surefootedness is required in places. You have to expect such path impairments when undertaking a hike. If you think certain sections are impassable for you, you should bypass them.
NOTE:
We strive to announce all closures caused by forestry work or hunting societies on this platform. Nevertheless, there are situations where hiking paths are closed and we may not have been informed. If you unexpectedly encounter a path closure or detour, please observe the instructions for your own safety.

Equipment
For our hiking routes, we recommend the following equipment as standard:
- Sturdy footwear
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Sun and rain protection
- A sufficient supply of food and drinks, as there are not always dining or shopping options available or open everywhere.
- Even though the paths are consistently very well marked, it is advisable for safety reasons to always carry a suitable hiking map, so that, for example, in a thunderstorm or emergency you can quickly find a safe area.
