Monastery trail circular route:
From the edge of the forest, a path with changing views of the former monastery site leads to the community's well-preserved water basin, built at the beginning of the 19th century. From there, we walk along meadow paths past the back of the monastery grounds to the old monastery churchyard. The Cistercian convent of St. Maria was located in the neighborhood for over 4 centuries, of which only sparse remains of the walls remain today. On the information boards in the churchyard, we can read interesting facts about the 1000th anniversary of the local community of Klosterkumbd, which was celebrated in 2015. From there, we walk along the historic "In den Kirchäckern" corridor towards the "Auf Weiselstein" development area and then slightly uphill along meadow paths past the "7 Birken" barbecue area to the edge of the forest and back to the Klingelfloß dream loop.
