- Start from Col de la Crénée, from the parking lot, descend 50 m on the road and take the Albert Ronsin trail to the right towards the Celtic Camp (red cross),
- At the Petits-Pâtés junction, continue along the ridge to the left (GR 533 trail). Arrive at the entrance of the Celtic camp (historical monument listed in 1982: to visit, follow the red arrows).
- From the camp entrance, take the trail to the left towards Hurbache. Emerge onto a forest road: follow it to the left. Pass in front of the Fontaine du Repos-des-Celtes and turn right onto the track.
- After 200 m, enter a trail to the right that climbs steadily.
- At the next junction, turn left towards the Chénaux circuit. At the Chénaux pond, continue straight ahead for 350 m.
- Leave the track to climb a trail to the right that leads to another track: proceed left for 500 m towards Col du Bon Dieu.
- Leave the track and take a path that climbs to the right up to Col du Bon Dieu.
- Cross and take the direction of the Roche des Corbeaux straight ahead for 150 m. Turn onto a trail to the right. At the end of the climb, at an intersection, continue right to reach the Roche. After passing the Roche des Corbeaux, take the trail back towards Col de la Crénée and follow the base of the rocks. After a steep descent, continue right to the next junction.
- Turn left towards Haut de Rittempierre (from the Balcon de Rittempierre, panorama on Saint-Dié des Vosges). Continue and arrive on a track: follow it to the right for about 200 m to climb to the GR 533 junction.
