37 Km route from Monte Tre Denti - Freidour Park to Martignosa locality in Piossasco.
The trail is dedicated to David Bertrand, a young AIB (Anti-Forest Fire), who died in the Monte San Giorgio Provincial Park during the Piossasco fire in 1999.
The route, starting from Roletto (the town where David was born), passes through Monte Tre Denti - Freidour Park and, via a ridge path, reaches Monte San Giorgio Park (the place where the young man died), up to Casa Martignona locality (Piossasco). It covers 37 km with a positive elevation gain of 1,500 m, features that make it suitable to host a high-level trail race.
Institutionally, the trail is promoted by the Metropolitan City of Turin and the municipalities of Piossasco, Roletto, Cantalupa, Pinerolo, Frossasco, Trana, and Cumiana, which are involved in the crossing and is adopted by the AIB (Anti-Forest Fire), WWF (World Wide Fund), and CAI (Italian Alpine Club).
