Ring hike inside the wild world of the Singol Valley up to the small plateau where Malga Dalco is located. Return to Limone on a panoramic path that offers breathtaking views of Lake Garda.

The hike starts directly from the beach of Limone sul Garda. From here, you follow the course of the San Giovanni stream following the beautiful walk that immerses itself in greenery and gains altitude, passing waterfalls and water jumps, until reaching the La Milanesa area (200 m), where there is also parking and a trattoria.

Here, cross a small bridge on the left and see the signs indicating the various trekking trails in the area.

Head right following the sign number 101 and walk along a steep mule track called Sentiero Antonio that is part of the Bassa Via del Garda.

In this section, the slope is really felt; you go ever deeper into the Singol Valley, pass a waterfall on the left and ignore shortly afterwards trail 111 (for experts) which climbs steeply to Dalco.

Behind us, there is a beautiful view of Lake Garda and Monte Baldo, but it’s nothing compared to what will be seen later.

A little more uphill on the mule track and you reach a junction where there is the sign for trail 102 Dalco, about 950 meters from La Milanesa.

Follow it turning left, and start walking in the woods on a steep zigzag that then reaches a rocky area to be overcome with the help of some metal cords helping the progression.

The view of the mountains of the Singol Valley is truly sublime. Before our eyes is a wild, still intact mountain with the blue of the lake in the distance.

One last uphill stretch and you reach Bocchetta Valle Scaglione (890 m). From here follow the signs for Dalco - Cascina on trail 110 where you arrive at the alpine hut in about 15 minutes on a flat walk.

After catching your breath, briefly climb the ridge in front of the hut to reach the junction of trails 111 and 112 which lead to Limone.

Descend following trail 112 (trail for experienced hikers) which initially skirts the top of Monte Preals (not panoramic as it’s immersed in the woods), then begins to steeply descend leaving the forest behind with breathtaking views of the lake.

This is the most panoramic part of the entire hike! Truly a marvel! Wonderful view of Limone from above!

The trail is very steep, the ground is a bit slippery as it has stones, roots, soil, so you need to pay particular attention where you place your feet.

Occasionally there are real panoramic terraces where you can admire the lake in all its beauty. Here we recommend you take your photos!

Entering back into the dwarf pine vegetation, you get closer and closer to Limone. Upon reaching the first houses, take trail 112 to the left which again leads to the La Milanesa area and then descend along the promenade alongside the San Giovanni stream to reach the center.
