Varied hike from the city of Gallus to the Rhine with beautiful views of Lake Constance and the St. Gallen Rhine Valley.
An scenic route with culinary stops awaits you on the hike "From Course to Course." The route starts at the Hinterhof stop in Untereggen and leads over blooming meadows and through forests to the Eggersrieter Höhe. Enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Constance before reaching the Bären restaurant in Grub AR, where you will be treated to an extensive starter. Just before the Fünfländerblick viewpoint, you reach the Rossbüchel inn. Take a break and enjoy the fine main course. The next stage starts directly with a highlight: from the Fünfländerblick, you enjoy a unique view of Lake Constance, the Bregenz Forest, and the Alpstein. Now follows the descent to the Steiniger Tisch restaurant, where a well-deserved dessert awaits with the best view over the Thal vineyards. The last stage ends at Rheineck station, where the S-Bahn comfortably takes you back to St. Gallen.
