Circular route at Forggensee

The circular route starts at the gravel car park Karbrücke in the Schwangau district of Brunnen. The car park is generously sized, but there are no designated disabled parking spaces or accessible toilets.

From the starting point, follow the gravel path towards Forggensee. Shortly after, turn left onto a wooden bridge. Once you have crossed it, the path leads along the lakeshore towards the campsite.

At the campsite, stay on the path along Forggensee until you reach the "Brunner Spitz". From here, an impressive panoramic view of the lake in all directions opens up – an ideal place to rest and enjoy.

Then continue your walk on the flat lakeside path, which leads you to the district of Waltenhofen. At the entrance to the village, turn sharply left and follow the wide gravel path back to your starting point in Brunnen.

The entire circular route is step-free and continuously signposted.
