Starting from Rebeuville, a charming village known for its monumental crosses, the path takes you along the Mouzon, you will reach the Hell cave via a small path Details see Hell cave circuit. Another cave is visible on the other side of the Mouzon (4 km round trip), it is the Jeanne la belle cave, named after a poor family who lived there in the 19th century. Between Rebeuville and Certilleux is a maple-ash wood, a glacial relic continuing in some cold and humid valleys. Possibility to continue following the red cross towards St Martin chapel (2.2 km round trip). Then descent to Villars after the railway bridge, turn right between the houses, a path bordering the Mouzon leads you to Bréchaincourt, a peaceful village where you can see 2 calvaries. Return by the road leading to Villars and climb onto the plateau. Possibility to see the monumental cross dominating Rebeuville, a nice viewpoint (1.1 km round trip).

    Marking CV: Red triangle

    Author’s recommendation

Impassable during periods of strong flooding of the Mouzon.

Be careful when crossing the D164.
