Camino de Santiago Carinthia/Package 10th Stage: Berg i. Drautal - Oberdrauburg

From the parish church in Berg i. Drautal you walk at a consistent elevation through the villages of Oberfrallach and Grientschnig along a little-trafficked side road always westwards to Dellach i. Drautal, which you reach after about an hour (Berg - Dellach: 5 km). You walk downhill through the town to the federal highway and immediately leave it again - before the Trunk inn - turning left heading south, then crossing the railway tracks and afterwards the Drava river. Then turn right and continue on the lightly trafficked road to Stein and past the power plant house of Kelag to Stein Castle, which is privately owned. Now it goes quickly downhill towards the Irschen train station. Shortly before reaching the Drava bridge, you must turn sharply left in the direction of Pflügen. In Pflügen the road turns into a forest path. At the next two forks, keep right, then go under the railway track and shortly after cross the Drava bridge north into the town center of Oberdrauburg, the destination of the stage (Dellach - Oberdrauburg: 11 km).

From Oberdrauburg the Camino follows the course of the Drava River to the East Tyrolean state border and continues through the towns Nikolsdorf and Dölsach onwards to Lienz.
