The Bussen, with its 767m, dominantly shapes the landscape of our region. It is both a destination for excursions and a place of pilgrimage. Those who do not want to undertake the steep ascent can enjoy the view from below and the beautiful surroundings on a walk along the Bussen View Path.

From the starting point at the Federsee Museum, head towards the Federsee, then turn left and after about 200m turn right again towards the north into the Banngebiet Staudacher. Through the village of Moosburg, the path leads into the Miesachtal, an offshoot of the Federsee Moor. It is part of the Westliches Federseeried nature reserve. From this idyllic meadow valley, there is a magnificent view of the Bussen. A well-known pilgrimage church is located at its summit.
In Betzenweiler, the path turns south and runs through the fields towards the Seelenwald. Before entering the forest, it is worth taking another look back at the Bussen. After passing the extensive woodlands, the view opens towards Kanzach. Along the forest edge, the picturesque path leads past meadows to the Seelenhof. It continues through fields and pastures over the Vollochhof and the Kanzach Canal back to Bad Buchau.
