In winter, when the days are shorter, the steps remain in the shade until late morning. In summer, however, they are exposed to the sun all day and very hot: start early in the morning.
Tips and suggestions
The start and end point of the hike is the Parco delle Busatte, where you can find a bar, an MTB park, and a climbing park. A beautiful place also for children.

Particularly impressive, besides the view, are the lush Mediterranean vegetation and the landslide from the last Ice Age. Along the route, you will find information panels about the flora, fauna, and geological features of the area.
If after the three descending staircases you do not feel like going uphill, you can walk down the forest road about 1.5 km to Loc. Tempesta on the lakeside Via Gardesana and take the bus back to Torbole. From the bus stop in Torbole to the Busatte Park, it is then about 1.5 km uphill back to the parking lot.
Roadbook
From the parking lot of the Busatte Park, walk south through the park and take the path that ascends to the left between the BMX track and the adventure park.
After a slight ascent, you reach the first staircase with 116 steps after about 20 minutes, built to cross the "Salt della Cavra" (Goat's leap).
On an easy path, you reach the second staircase of the "Corno di Bò", which with 238 steps is the longest. On the path between the first and second staircases, you will find a trail that leads uphill to the left: this is the return route of this loop.
Now the last section of the path awaits you and the last staircase with only 33 steps, which leads you to the intersection with the forest road. Here turn left and follow the easy forest road slightly uphill to a viewpoint at a bend.
Here begins the descent, still on an easy gravel road, to a junction where you can go left to the Busatte-Tempesta staircase and right to the Sentiero dei Paloni.
Take the path on the left, which in a few minutes brings you back to the original path between the first and second staircases. Walk north and climb the first staircase of the "Salt della Cavra" to return to the Busatte Park, where the route started.
Variant
Between the first and second staircases, you can take the left fork to initially follow the forest road uphill and then downhill, and then climb the third and second staircases instead of descending them.
