Above the village of Tekovská Breznica once stood a castle that silently guarded the roads along the Hron River to the wealthy mining towns. During a family trip, you will discover the remains of the castle hidden under layers of soil and leaves, and from the lookout, you might also see the Nová Baňa crocodile.
For a pleasant walk through the remains of Tekovská Breznica castle, set out from the village of Tekovská Breznica along the green hiking trail. Leave your car parked in the free parking lot at or behind the cemetery in the village of Tekovská Breznica. The walk itself passes through places such as Shelter, Lookout, Hrádok Crossroads, up to the viewpoint at Sokolí Rock.

The walk itself passes through places such as Shelter, Lookout, Hrádok Crossroads, up to the viewpoint at Sokolí Rock. The length of the route is about 1.5 hours there and back. If you want to extend the walk, you can park at the railway station or in the village center and from there also follow the green trail.
