The tour, which runs completely in the forest, first leads to the viewpoint "Dorfblick" below the Kapellenfels, then after a steep ascent to the beautiful rest and viewpoint "Wasgaublick," from where you not only have a view towards Busenberg but also to the castle trio Altdahn. Then the path leads further to the impressive climbing rocks Schafsteine & shepherd's tower. Past Bärenbrunner Kesselfels and Erfweiler Sattelfelsen, you reach 2 beautiful viewpoints (including "Felsenlandblick") in the Bärenbrunner valley by circling Rauhberg. Further highlights are the summit of the Kahlenberg, which is reached via a short steel staircase, and the subsequent ridge hike near the Kahlenberg. Trail types: 80% narrow paths, 20% forest roads. Orientation: no continuous marking of the tour; those unfamiliar with the area need GPS/map. Dining options: none on the route, but nearby: Bärenbrunner Hof: https://baerenbrunnerhof.de
