The route passes the Sternfelsen and continues on to the plateaus of Honigfelsen, Kühhungerfelsen, Bärenbrunner Schandarie, Nonnenfels, and Pfaffenfels. Those who are sure-footed enough (possibly also enjoy a bit of climbing) can advance on the plateaus to the edge of the cliff, each offering a great view and rest spot. The approach is somewhat steep and requires sure-footedness and good grip from shoes (under most weather conditions). After this first steep section, the route runs mostly along the ridge of the hills. Orientation: no trail marking, map or GPS recommended. Trail types: 75% narrow to medium paths, the rest forest roads. Short distance on asphalt. Catering: Guesthouse Bärenbrunnerhof: http://www.baerenbrunnerhof.de
