Near Pfronten is the idyllic Alatsee. A round trip and a cool down in the clear water (in summer) is recommended here.
The return route goes through the Faulenbach valley. The nature reserve offers pure nature experience as the "Valley of the Senses." Small lakes, species-rich flower meadows, impressive hillside forests, and fascinating rock formations create a unique natural idyll. A "Path of the Senses" invites you to a discovery journey for all five senses.
Route:
Morisse parking lot - shortly before Morisse narrows turn right onto the lower Kobelsteig - lower Kobelsteig to the end - connecting path to Alatseestraße - Alatseestraße - Alatsee;
Return route: forest path south parallel to Alatseestraße to Obersee - south along Obersee and Mittersee - Alatseestraße - left at Hotel Ruchti into Ruchtisteig - Ruchtisteig - lower Kobel path to Morisse narrows - Morisse parking lot
