Forests, meadows and ponds in the north od Friedrichshafen.
This hike takes you to the northern part of the town to the wooded Unterweiher pond. The pond, together with the mill built as an energy source, is a rare medieval technical monument. The trail first stretches through the Brochenzell forest before leading back past the Ettenkirch high mountain area. The contrast between woodland and open countryside with a fantastic view of the hilly Allgäu and the faraway mountain tops will make this hike a very special experience.
