Our short hike on the small Alpsee in the Allgäu takes us along the shore, past the outdoor pool to the large Alpsee. The alternation between the lake and meadows opens up wonderful views of the panorama of the Allgäu Alps. The route offers short climbs and numerous rest stops - ideal for leisure hikers and families. Numerous benches along the way invite you to linger and even the little ones won't get bored. There are playgrounds, an outdoor pool and places to stop for refreshments along the route.
The small Alpsee lake is not just great for hiking - swimming, stand-up paddling and fishing are also popular leisure activities at the lake. In summer, there are sunbathing lawns and bathing areas, while in winter you can go for walks and curling.

The trail initially runs along the small Alpsee lake, passing several high points (728-733 m). After the bathing path and fishing path, continue along the shore to the large Alpsee, then on a circular route back to the starting point. Especially between the Fischerweg and Badeweg, the lakeside paths are narrow and occasionally muddy.
