The Kleine Alpsee is located in the northwest of the town of Immenstadt im Allgäu. The lake is about 8 hectares in size and stretches over a length of 440 m, its deepest point is 6.2 m below the surface of the water. The 21km river 'Konstanzer Ach' connects the Kleiner Alpsee to the Großer Alpsee. In summer, it is popular for bathing and the lake boasts a wonderful view of the surrounding mountainscape all year round. Circling the Kleine Alpsee you will find public footpaths to explore all sides of the lake, including a bridge to cross over - these paths make popular routes for local people, you can find a small children's play area on the North-side and a heated pool and sports facilities on the South-side.
