Decathlon Mátra route - Lake Sás 13

• Date: June 8, 2019
• Start/Finish: Mátrafüred, Mátra Forestry, Agricultural and Wildlife Management Vocational School and Dormitory
• Start: 8:00-12:00
• Finish: must arrive by 17:00 at the latest
• Time limit: 6 hours
• Entry fee on-site: 800 HUF
• Entry fee for pre-registration: 600 HUF
• Pre-registration possible on the route page until June 5, 2019, payment on-site.

• Water points: Mátrafüred, Rákóczi spring, Lajosháza, Tarma-well
• Refreshments at the finish: lard bread, onion, syrups, sweet and salty biscuits, fruit, and many other treats
• Awards: named certificate and badge
• You must get your completion verified with stamps at designated checkpoints along the route. If you are unsure about continuing or are curious how far the finish is, you can ask for help from the staff at the checkpoints besides stamping. Checkpoints and opening hours:
  • 1. CP Rákóczi spring: 7:00-13:00
  • 2. CP Lake Sás: 7:30-14:00
  • 3. CP Lajosháza (refreshment): 8:00-16:00
  • 4. CP Kozmáry lookout tower: 10:00-16:30
• Water points are available during the route at: Mátrafüred, Csepegő spring, Kékestető, Mátraháza, Lajosháza, Farkas-well, Sás lake
• The organizers request you to bring your own cup/water bottle/flask so that tea and water can be poured into it, protecting nature!
