Scenically varied and extremely charming bike route through the Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park from Kirn on the Nahe to Bingen on the Rhine.

From the sunny slopes in the Nahe valley over the quartzite ridges of the legendary Soonwald up to the beautiful southern Hunsrück and into the spectacular Rhine valley. The interaction of such different habitats as flowery forest meadows, juniper heaths, orchard meadows, natural streams and river floodplains makes this route particularly appealing. This bike route focuses on the landscape experience. But old, deeply hidden ruins in the forest as well as numerous castles and palaces can also be discovered along the way.

    Author’s recommendation

From Bingen, you can relax on the train or take the sporty route back to Kirn via the Nahe cycle path.
