Plan a break at the highest point of the route – the views of the Dachstein–Tauern region are worth it and offer great photo opportunities.

The tour starts at the Experience Portal Filzmoos. At the roundabout, turn right towards Ramsau am Dachstein. After approximately 1.7 km, turn right onto a gravel road and cross the bridge. After about 300 m, keep right at the fork and continue uphill. After another 300 m, turn right again – this is where the loop section begins. At the next two forks, keep left and continue to the highest point of the route. From here, the descent begins. After approximately 200 m, the connecting trail to the Roßbrand Route branches off. At Strauchmoos Farm, the surface changes to asphalt. Continue past Eschbach Farm and through Kienleiten. At kilometre 8.8, keep left at the fork. Near the valley floor, turn left at the intersection and, after another 100 m, turn right onto Kreuzsalweg. Cross the Ennstal federal road and continue to the Enns Bridge. Just before the bridge, turn left onto the Enns Cycle Path and follow it to Mandling. There, pass underneath the federal road, continue past Gasthof Geringer, and then follow the steep gravel road uphill. After about 400 m, keep left at the fork and follow the signs towards “Brand”. After completing the loop, return to Filzmoos along the same route.
