Beautiful route on asphalt and gravel with the highlight Ackersbachtal.
The route starts right in the middle of the city of Salzburg and for warming up, the cycle path along the Salzach is just right. Near Kuchl, we head towards Trattberg and shortly after comes the first climbing section. Then it goes through the beautiful Weitenau before reaching the junction of the Old Postalm Road. Through the wild Ackersbachtal, we pedal up to the Genneralm, including some steep ramps. The spent energy can be replenished at the Genneralm at the Posch'n hut. Back in the city, the Strubklamm offers another road highlight before, after one last ascent and a descent, reaching Salzburg again.
