The entire Wechsel panoramic trail lies at an altitude of over 1,000 meters. This not only guarantees wonderful panoramic views of Schneeberg, Rax, Wechsel and the surrounding regions, but also a high level of snow reliability. Provided there is enough snow for grooming, the trail is groomed from the beginning of December to the end of March and runs through varied terrain and is also divided into smaller circular trail sections.

A day ticket for the Wechsel-Panoramaloipe is available at the GH Kummerbauerstadl.

    TRAIL USAGE REGULATIONS

    • The trail is subject to a fee; tickets can be obtained at the cash desks directly at the entry to the trail network. Controls are carried out on the trail by officials of the cross-country skiing and winter sports club. These officials are authorized to collect fees! If a valid usage ticket cannot be presented during a check, the official is entitled to immediately collect €15.00. Children up to 15 years have free admission.
    • Observe the signs at the entry points and along the trail and do not leave the cross-country skiing track.
    • The trail track must be used on the right side throughout.
    • Please observe all forestry and hunting notices. Respect marked wildlife and restricted areas and do not enter them, as the animals need peace as well.

    • Do not litter; carry your rubbish back home.
    • The trail is NOT groomed during snowfall or strong winds.

There is no guarantee that the entire trail network will be available when purchasing a VIP card or trail ticket.
