Right after the start at the parking lot of the Hündlebahn, there is a short ascent followed by a descent. It then continues – mostly still shaded in the morning hours (the sun only reaches this section in the afternoon) – towards Schwandlift. From there, you either follow a loop directly over sunny open areas along the Konstanzer Ach back towards the starting point or run up to the turnaround point at the fire station in Thalkirchdorf and return from there. Leisure skiers switch sides of the street and extend the skiing fun with the Konstanzer trail.
