    Roadbook

    The cycle route starts at the Schömbach Dam and initially passes through the small village of Altmörbitz in a northeast direction to Rudigsdorf. From there, the route continues via Kohren-Sahlis through the Streitwald nature reserve to Frohburg. Past the Frohburg outdoor pool and St. Michael’s Church, the route then heads northwest towards Benndorf. Through Wyhra and Zedtlitz, the path continues to Borna. After passing the Borna market, the path continues from Bahnhofstraße onto Wettinstraße and out of Borna. Past the Lobstädt storage facility, the cycle path briefly follows the federal highway before finally reaching Neukieritzsch.

    Take the S6 (towards Geithain) to Frohburg, change there to bus 265 towards Altmörbitz (Kohren-Sahlis), parking lot.

    Altmörbitz is located roughly midway between Leipzig and Chemnitz.

    From Leipzig, take the dual carriageway B95 towards Chemnitz. After a few kilometers, the B95 seamlessly merges into the A72. Follow the A72 to the Borna-Süd exit. Continue towards Zedtlitz/Frohburg/Chemnitz. Pass through Frohburg on the main road. 9 kilometers after Frohburg you will pass directly through Altmörbitz.

    From the Dresden/Chemnitz direction:

    Exit the A72 at Penig. Continue towards Frohburg/Leipzig. 12 kilometers after Penig you will arrive directly at Altmörbitz.
