This approximately 20 km long cycling route takes us mainly to the southwest of the municipality of Egglham. We ride past impressive farms in scenic island locations and have plenty of time to enjoy cycling on long quiet forest passages.
Our starting point is the Aldersbach Bridge in the south of Egglham. Right at the beginning of the route there is a steep climb up to Schacher, but from the start you can also enjoy the wonderful views that are repeatedly offered. Tabor, Wolfschießen, and Tölzenöd lie along the route. Through a wonderful forest area, we then reach Peterskirchen and Lindberg. The views awaiting us here on the hill are equally impressive.
On the further way through wonderful forest areas, we gradually approach Egglham again. The return route over Hausschwendt and Wampendobl offers attractive views again, which we can enjoy extensively.

Roadbook
This approximately 20 km long cycling route takes us mainly to the southwest of the municipality of Egglham. We ride past impressive farms in scenic island locations and have plenty of time to enjoy cycling on long quiet forest passages.
Our starting point is the Aldersbach Bridge in the south of Egglham. We initially head south to Hengsberg and immediately face a steep climb over Hoibach up to Schacha, Tabor, Wolfschießen, and Tölzenöd. After Tölzenöd, we turn right and pass Stockland into the Tattenbacher forest. After an extended passage through this forest, the route leads us briefly along the district road first westwards and then at the intersection rightwards northwards.
At the height of Hagenöd, we leave the district road again to continue into the Seeholz. Our route continues past Wolfsöd, then we make a small detour into the neighboring municipality of Dietersburg, first via Gfehret, Peterskirchen, and Lindberg. Behind the farmstead of Rauchdobl, we turn left and cross the Eitzenhamer stream and the state road to reach Priel and Peterskirchen, where there is an opportunity for a snack. We continue uphill to Lindberg and straight ahead into the Sattelholz.
Through the Sattelholz, we return eastward into the Egglham municipal area. The forest seamlessly transitions into the Dobler forest, until after this extensive forest passage we reach the forest edge at Edmann. From there, we return southwards down to Hausschwendt and along the field path down to Wampendobl. At the state road below, we go briefly left about 400 m and have reached our starting point again at the Aldersbach Bridge south of Egglham.
