Bike route with great views through the vineyards and the Rhine plain.
The route starts at the church and market square in the centre of Bühl. Following the marking of the Baden wine cycle path, it first goes flatly through Bühl to the wine-growing community of Eisental. From there, the path moderately climbs into the vineyards to the Baden-Baden district of Neuweier. The path leads right through the vineyards with wonderful views into the Rhine valley and past Neuweier castle down to Steinbach. From here, it continues on flat paths first to Sinzheim and from there through beautiful meadows and fields with views of the Black Forest mountains to Weitenung and finally back to the starting point. The varied route connects the characteristic landscape features of the region, the vineyards and the wide meadows.
Author’s recommendation
Make a detour to the Affentaler wine cooperative right at the beginning of the route, buy a bottle of Affentaler wine there and enjoy it during a break in the vineyards!
