Village cycling loop Sonthofen

Once at the top, shortly before Breiten, the route goes downhill again towards Tiefenbach. Here, after the strenuous stage, we can cool our feet in the water treading facility.

After Tiefenbach we go down to the B308. Here we cycle on the bike path towards Sonthofen, optionally making a short but steep detour to Imberg and then continuing to Binswangen. In Imberg, at the Berggasthof Sonne, there is a free charging and repair facility. From Binswangen we go uphill to Margarethen. Here we keep right and soon reach Hofen. Via Beilenberg we reach Altstädten after a rapid descent. The leisure facility on the left invites you for a refreshing swim. We leave Altstädten via Sonnenkopfweg towards Hochweiler. Halfway up, you will discover on the left at the forest edge the Madonna figure "Queen of Love" with a wonderful view over the Iller Valley. Shortly afterwards we pass the access to the Hinanger Waterfall, a very worthwhile visit. Via Hinang we cycle back down to Altstädten, past the water treading facility and the train station before returning to Sonthofen on a beautiful meadow cycle path.

At the Wonnemar we turn onto the Iller dam and ride it northwards. In G’hau, at the mini golf course, we turn left over the Iller footbridge and then right along the Iller, passing the Sonthofen lake. We follow the signs towards Rieden to the Marien bridge, which we cross. Immediately afterward turn left, continuing along the Iller and then along the Ostrach back to Erzflöß and finally right on the same route to our starting point. Here at the service and charging station there is the possibility to recharge your e-bike.
