In Wiggensbach we start this circular tour through the Adelegg. Some altitude meters and wonderful natural impressions accompany us. In Schmidsfelden, the old glassmaker village with a museum surprises, a detour to the Eschacher Weiher provides cooling on hot summer days.

The picturesque village square of Wiggensbach with cozy inns and the remarkable parish church St. Pankratius forms the starting point for our tour through the Adelegg. The marking with the number 4 shows us the way on this tour. We leave Wiggensbach heading south towards Ermengerst. In the village, the signage leads us onto a former railway track and later onto a road that takes us comfortably up and down to Buchenberg. Upon arrival in Buchenberg, we immediately leave the town on Eschacher Street heading west. We follow the ascending road towards Eschach. Behind the small settlement, the Eschacher Weiher soon comes into our view on our left. At a parking lot, we orient ourselves to the right and finally find ourselves in a dense forest area. Soon the ascent is overcome; on forest paths we now cycle without major effort through the cool forest. At Krummen, we finally meet a road again, into which we turn right. Downhill, the road now leads us to Schmidsfelden. In the small village, a visit to the glassmaker museum is worthwhile. With a steady ascent, we now approach the former estate Kürnach, which now houses the hotel "Allgäu Residenz". The impressive property is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes of forest and meadows. Here we can stop by and refresh ourselves in the beer garden with a hearty snack or with coffee and cake for the last altitude meters. Soon we reach Oberkürnach, where we turn left towards Schmidsreute. It goes steeply uphill again before we can enjoy the descent to Wiggensbach. Here, the widely visible church guides us, through shady forest areas and lush green meadows we soon reach the starting point of our tour. Alternatively, the tour can also be started in Buchenberg.
